The TTA-Fanfic Montages are based on an idea by Kevin Mickel: every TTA fan story oughta have at least one illustration drawn for it. Theoretically, they were to be done by several artists, but so far, it's just been Thorne.
"Tiny Toon Adventures" and all Tiny Toon and Looney Tune characters

This is Montage 1, the fourth one I've done. (circa 2001) It was the first to be imagined, but by the time the artist who took the job decided to drop out, I was busy with Montage 2. I was glad to finally get a chance at this one, though, because it covers the early years of Tiny Toons fanfic, when many of the real classic stories were written.
Anyhoo, here it is, followed by links to the individual pictures with a little about the stories and my comments. Enjoy!

| Y |
"(Non) Campus Mentis" by Maggie Weidner Buster, Babs, Plucky, Hamton, Fifi and Shirley visit the summer camp from heck in this not-quite-finished comedy. Buster looks like he's enjoying this cross dressing thing way too much. |

"Final Days" by Jason "OShindler" Bretz Cinematic action and horror, with lots of suspense and great big guns! |
| AA | "But I Won't Do That!" by David M. Hungerford III Buster and Babs confront raging hormones as well a snoopy duck in this anti-TTBS classic. Note that Plucky is eavesdropping at Buster's house the day after Buster and Babs met in Babs's room! |

Tiny Toon Adventures Fan Fiction Montage II (1024x768) The whole shamiel, available in various sizes. |
|
| A | "A Rabbit out of Time " by Plucky Warner, writing as Matt Bermann Buster is zapped from 1996 to 2041 in this time travel adventure. Babs looks great for a 66-year-old! |
| B | "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Someone Blue " by Plucky Warner, writing as Matt Bermann An unofficial sequel to HKUriah's Buster & Babs Trilogy stories Dark and heavy drama - the scene should really be a lot more gruesome, but I suppose I wasn'tquite up to drawing all the tubes and needles of the ICU. |
| C | "Bugsnapped"by Plucky Warner, writing as Matt Bermann The gang has a harrowing trip to rescue Bugs.. from Reality! |
| D | "Quantoon Leap " by Eric Gjovaag In this Quantum Leap fan script, Sam has to get used to living in the Tooniverse, as Buster Bunny. Ah, the Jessica Rabbit transformation, I never get tired of drawing it! |
| E | “Space Duck Shore to Shore: Shirl Nesbit” by Colin Feder Plucky does the Space Ghost thing. You know, I can't recall the last time I saw Space Ghost: Coast to Coast. |
| F | “Babs-a-maniacs” by Beth-Ann Bryant Babs is tired of Toonywood Squares, and she’s looking for a part on Animaniacs. Just reread this story, and I can’t believe I didn’t draw her in the Dot outfit! |
| G | “The Created (Bugsnapped II)” by Plucky Warner, writing as Matt Bermann Bugs, turned into a soulless monster by the Creations, is set aback by a vision of his dead wife. I meant this to look like Mrs. Bugs Bunny (per HKU’s writeup), but I fear she pretty much just looks like Bugs in drag. |
| H | "What's Up, Duck?" by Nathan East writing as Bloodstone the Technomancer Buster and Babs join Emily and Eric Bunny from (KeV Beeley’s Rivals) on a mission to rescue Bugs Bunny. Ouch, check out those faces, and my silly 1996 signature with the rose thorn for a "t". |
| I | "Sailor Toon" by Karen Tindall Sailor Moon freaks out and flees from Dot’s sailor scout group Lazy me, the others in Dot’s team sound funny! |
| J | "The Acmes" by Morgan Ingersoll The TTA gang jams in a rock band! Hamton, in HKU’s instructions, was supposed to look confused. Instead, he looks like he’s the only one in on the joke! Oh well. |
| K |
This is actually a slight redesign I did for the 10th anniversary of the list. Art by me, trademarks definitely not mine! |
| L | "Sailor Loon" by Karen Tindall Sailor Shirley and Sailor Toon vie for possession of Sailor Biker Mouse from Mars. Huh? |
| M | "Transfer Student" by Jeremy Jurrens Villain Camry Curvaceous laughs maniacally after taunting the captured Amazing Three. No, it’s not chilly in there, it’s just ... stimulating... work, being a villain. |

B |
"The Final Episode" by Nate East, writing as Bloodstone the Technomancer It’s the end of Acme Acres and the Tiny Toons, as everything fades to gray. Depressing little ditty, ain’t it? |
C |
"I should think of a snappy title for this" by David Formosa, writing as ? the Platypus Plucky prepares to administer the classic giant cartoon mallet treatment to Count Duckula, to keep him away from Shirley! Lots of American-bashing and rather dry humor. I laughed. |
D |
"A Pool And Its Party Are Soon Started..." by Jerry D. Withers Rubella calls in an airstrike on Daffy. Girls in bikinis, always a good thing. |
E |
"The Hours Between Night and Day (Bugsnapped! III)" by Plucky Warner, writing as Matt Bermann Buster and Bo Bunny approach the glass coffin of Bugs Bunny. Creepy, no? Plucky Warner was never quite happy with this picture; he felt the wall should look much more dusty. My Photoshop skillz were not up to the task of depicting his vision. |
F |
"Up The Duff" by David Formosa, writing as ? the Platypus Plucky has a pregnancy scare when Shirly is tasked to incubate her mother’s eggs. Lots of interesting Aussie slang and references. |

"Ducks Out Of Luck" by Kevin Mickel It’s psychokinesis vs. sorcery as Shirley battles Morgana Macawber… at ping-pong. |

Montage 4 was done in late 1998. My equipment and software had improved quite a bit then, and you might noticed an increased abuse of Photoshop filters and tricks. That's what they are there for!. :-) I also began to work harder to make all of the individual panels into full-screen poster-type images, with interesting logos and titling. Often the small panel in the complete montage tells only part of the story.

|
A |
" Hip Hop Hoops" by Renee Carter Hall Buster is smitten with the new basketball coach... and Babs ain’t happy. There was a fuss when this one came out, because another basketball themed story had come out just the mailer before. That wasn’t fair to Renee, as she hadn’t been on the list then, and it was silly, as Space Jam was new and exciting (well, the Lola part was exciting) and basketball was naturally on our minds. |
B |
"A Tradition Broken - The Time of Wonders, Part 2" by Daniel "Doc" Short Bill Bunny fades away Doc worked with me on a model sheet, or lineup anyway, of his characters long before this picture, and I generally stuck with the interpretations he gave there for their looks. |
C |
"Wolfgoyles: The Beginning" by Earl Allison Willy is trapped in his stone Gargoyle form by the sunrise, much to Shirley's distress. |
D |
"A Bit Of History" by Daniel "Bear" Davis Bugs walks in on Buster and Babs as they are kissing – this story has to do with Buster’s backstory as Bugs’s son, who is conflicted about Bugs’s new girlfriend. |
E |
"TOON WOLF" by Earl Allison Fifi tries to entice Willie Wolf with a Little Red Riding Hood disguise,, and is stalked by Dr. Gene Splicer. |
F |
"Welcome to Acme Acres - The Time of Wonders, Part 1" by Daniel "Doc" Short Bugs and Lola’s long lost daughter returns from Japan. |
G |
"Pink Dwarf: Lightspeed" by Sylvester Fox A Red Dwarf parody. I like Plucky’s hologram badge. |
H |
"Who Gets Her? - The Time of Wonders, Part 3" by Daniel "Doc" Short Fifi falls hard for Pepe’s nephew Brad, a highly successful blackmailer to the stars (?!). Hamton is not happy at this development, and trouble quickly ensues. |
I |
"The Showdown" by Mike Cote Western action/adventure with a really little bad guy, albeit very well armed. Those inclined to admire Buster’s behind will envy Hamton’s view. |
J |
"A Reluctant Toon" by Bryan Chaney Jamie goes to sleep human, and wakes up a toon in Acme Acres, and it’s very distressing for him. |
M |
"Pink Dwarf: The End" by Sylvester Fox More Red Dwarf parody with Buster and Plucky. |
N |
"The Frightened Duckling - The Time of Wonders, Part 4" by Daniel "Doc" Short Plucky calls upon his friends to help rescue his little pink sister, who has been imprisioned in his parents’ basement for 15 years (!?!) |

P |
"The Tooney Limits: Bugsis" by Plucky Warner A time travel paradox story |
